UPDATE: Three And A Half Pike is funded and the project can move on! As of 5/31/2012 over $26,000 has been raised to allow the project move forward. Congratulations and we look forward to the finished product.
There is not much time left to help "Kick Start" a project spearheaded by former IU diver Marc Carlton and a group of filmmakers (go here to read their bios). This project is in dire need of funding and time is limited!
The film will follow a group of Olympic hopefuls as they prepare for the 2012 Olympic Trials in Seattle, and detail the process and struggles to both qualify for, and compete against the world's best in London.
It is a worthy project aimed at increasing the exposure for the sport, and I hope at the very least, you go to the KickStart Three And A Half Pike and Human Energy Films sites and read about their project. Consider a donation, even if it is as little as $1.
Consider this; if every diver who ever enjoyed or benefited from the sport of diving donated just $1, how long would it take to generate the required $25,000 that it will take to produce a film that could greatly benefit our sport?
