Gracia had two major accomplishments in 2012; she won her first senior title with a victory on 3-meter at the AT&T National Diving Championships, and she followed that up with a victory on the international stage with a win on 3-meter at the FINA Junior World Championships in Adelaide, Australia.

Personal Highlights:
- Daughter of Patricia Leydon and James Mahoney.
- She also has two older siblings, Caitria and Jake.
- Gracia began diving at age nine and now trains six days a week.
- Moved from her hometown of Newton, Mass. (outside of Boston) to train with Drew Johansen in Durham, N.C.
- Before she took up diving full time, she was also involved in gymnastics and ice hockey. Now she enjoys lacrosse, ballet and soccer in addition to diving.
- Won her first individual senior title in 2012 with a victory on 3-meter.
- Member of the USA Diving Junior Elite Performance Squad (JEPS). The JEPS is designed for talented junior divers who aspire to compete in the 2016 and 2020 Olympics.
