About Thomas:

After being left off the Olympic Team in 2004 - despite finishing second on platform, Thomas made amends and earned a spot in 2008 finishing 12th on platform and fifth in synchro. Ok, let's look forward to 2012! Oooops. A shoulder injury and the rise of Nick McCrory have put a wrinkle in that plan. It now looks like he is on the outside looking in and will need to battle hard if he is to make his second Olympic squad.

But it's not all gloom and doom for Thomas, he still is one of best platform divers in the nation if not the world, and has a good shot at making it to London. Plus, the same work ethic that got him to Beijing will undoubtedly help as he tries to make his second Olympic team. The only difference is that he will be the underdog instead of the favorite at the trials this summer.
