2009 FINA World Championships

Who was a World Champion diver in 2009?

By , About.com Guide

The FINA World Diving Championships have been held continuously since 1973. Beginning with three-meter springboard and platform at the inaugural championships in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, FINA expanded the competition format to include one-meter springboard in 1991, and added synchronized springboard and synchronized platform in 1998.

Held in conjunction with swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, and open water swimming, the diving events for the 2009 FINA World Championships were contested in Rome from July 17-25.

Listed results are for finals only. Full results can be found at FINA - Roma09.
