U.S. divers picked up three fourth place finishes at the FINA Diving Grand Prix China Open in Shenzhen, China, led by Livingston siblings, Drew and Jessica. Drew Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) finished fourth on 10-meter platform and paired with Kristian Ipsen (Clayton, Calif.) to finish fourth in the mens three-meter synchronized springboard. Livingstons sister Jessica (The Woodlands, Texas), teamed with Laura Wilkinson (Spring, Texas) to finish fourth in the womens 10-meter synchronized platform event, missing the bronze medal by 0.42 points.
Harrison Jones (Spring, Texas) made history at the event by completing an inward 4 ½ somersault in tuck position in the 10-meter platform event. He became the first diver to compete a dive in international competition with a degree of difficulty over 4.0. Jones finished tenth in the competition.
In other results, Nancilea Foster (Conroe, Texas) finished fifth and Allison Brennan (Huntington Beach, Calif.) seventh in the womens three-meter competition.
In the mens three-meter, Justin Wilcock (Smithfield, Utah) finished sixth and Ipsen finished eighth. Cassandra Cardinell (Loudonville, N.Y.) finished seventh on womens 10-meter with Jessica Livingston placing 13th.
