More Opportunities for Junior Divers
USA Diving has restructured the summer junior diving program in an effort to allow more divers to compete throughout the summer. This move comes as a response to feedback gathered from Town Hall meetings and member surveys in which the diving membership felt that USA Diving was focused too much toward the elite diving programs.

Thomas Finchum Named USA Diving Athlete of the Year
Thomas Finchum was named USA Diving’s Athlete of the year at the recent United States Aquatic Sports awards banquet held in Garden Grove, CA. Finchum won four national championships and 10 international medals over the course of the year. He is the current the favorite to win the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for diving in the platform and synchronized platform events.
