Men's Olympic Springboard Competition

From , former About.com Guide

Springboard diving was first contested at the 1908 Olympic Games in London. Since that time the United States has won 15 of the 22 gold medals awarded although China has won the last three titles and will again be the favorites. The best hope for the U.S. will be veteran Troy Dumais who finshed sixth in both 2000 and 2004 in the event.
