Diver Cynthia Potter was a member of the 1968, 1972, 1976, and 1980 U.S. Olympic Diving Teams. She competed in the following events:
- Springboard Diving (Seventh in 1972, Bronze in 1976)
- Platform Diving (21st in 1972)
Where Is Cynthia Potter Now?:
Cynthia Potter qualified for four U.S. Olympic Teams, the last of which was in 1980 when the U.S. boycotted the Moscow Games. One of the most long-lived divers in U.S. history, Cynthia earned a bronze on springboard in Montreal to go with her astounding 28 U.S. National Diving Championships! You may hear her doing color commentary for swimming and diving events on many a television broadcast when she is not coaching diving at her home in Atlanta.

- Did not compete at the 1980 Olympic Games due to the U.S. Boycott
