The first major junior championship event will take place April 25-27 with the USA Diving Spring Junior East and West National Championships. Qualifications for these meets took place at 10 regional sites throughout the U.S. The top six divers in four age groups: 11 and under, 12-13, 14-15, and 16-18, qualify for the championships. The East and West championships are only contested one-meter and three-meter springboard.
Junior divers competing at this event will have the opportunity to compete in the 2008 British Elite Junior Diving Championships. The top two divers out of the East/West Championships in each age group will be eligible to attend the trip.[/p
