Definition: A line up is a particular diving skill that is practiced in order to improve body alignment, diving stretch for the water, and entry into the water. A diver will fall from a standing or sitting position, from the springboard or platform, concentrating on their entry into the water. There are both forward and backward line ups that will simulate these the stretch and water entry.
