FINA, otherwise known as Fédération Internationale de Natation, is the international governing body for aquatic sports that includes competitive springboard and platform diving. FINA develops, administers, and enforces the rules that govern the sport of diving, including all international competitions such as the world championships and Olympic Games.
Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, FINA also governs the aquatic sports of swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, and open water swimming.
