Woody Franklin has been a diver and coach for over three decades in addition to working in media and public relations for collegiate and Olympic sports programs.

Experience:

Currently an age group diving coach in Louisville, Ky, Woody's coaching resume also includes time spent in the college environment as head coach at Colorado College and the University of Louisville.

As a member of the University of Louisville Sports Information staff he worked with a variety of sports teams and served as a United States Olympic Committee intern as well as Media and Public Relations Manager for U.S. Cycling.

Woody has worked on the media relations staff of innumerable sporting events including the United States Olympic Festival and the NCAA basketball tournament. His experiences have taken him to national championships, Olympic trials, and world championships for diving, figure skating, cycling, and rowing. At the Atlanta Olympic Games, he was the Media Relations Manager for Diving.

In addition to coaching, he currently develops and administers websites from his home in Louisville.

Education:

Woody has a B.A. in Economics and a M.Ed. with a specialization in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville.
