Qiu Bo of China coasted to an easy victory in the men's 10--meter platform preliminaries at the London Olympic Games. He finished 30 points ahead of his teammate Lin Yue with Sascha Klein of Germany in third another seven points back. But the big story was the fact that British diver Tom Daley, and U.S. diver David Boudia were on the verge of being eliminated with one dive to go.
