Foster and Loukas One-Two in Women's Three-meter in Pasadena

Saturday July 26, 2008

Do you need any more confirmation that these two Beijing bound athletes are the right choice! Although the results were switched during the Olympic trials, Nancilea Foster and Christina Loukas finished one-two at the 2008 Kaiser Permanente National Diving Championships on three-meter springboard. I think this leaves no doubt who the two best three-meter divers are in the U.S. Foster won by almost nine points over Loukas, who was another 20 ahead of third place Allison Brennan.

The win was the third individual national title for Foster, who won three-meter championships at spring nationals in 2007 and 2008. She finished second to Cassidy Krug at this event last year in Stanford, Calif.
