Dumais finished second in the men's three-meter springboard to Japan's Ken Terauchi. Teammate Chris Colwill was eliminated in semifinal A after finishing second in the prelims. In the women's 10-meter platform event, Laura Wilkinson jumped from fourth to second on her final dive to earn the silver. Haley Ishimatsu, fourth in the preliminaries, did not advance to the finals.

The U.S. team also earned a bronze medal in the women's synchronized 10-meter platform. Laura Wilkinson picked up her second medal of the event as she teamed with Jessica Livingston to finish third. The other U.S. team of Haley Ishimatsu and Mary Beth Dunnichay finished out of the medals in fourth.
