U.S. Finishes Fourth and Sixth in Women's Synchro Springboard at FINA Grand Prix

In the only final contested at the AT&T FINA Grand Prix on Friday, two U.S. teams finished in the top-six in the women's synchronized three-meter springboard. Just missing a bronze were Christina Loukas and Amanda Miller in fourth, three points out of third. The other American team of Mary Yarrison and Abby Johnston finished sixth. The event was won by the Russian team of Yulia Pakalina and Anastasia Pozdniakova. Three finals are on the schedule for Saturday - women's platform, men's springboard, and women's synchro platform.
